We both are technical people, searching for new endeavors all the time. Coming from a chemistry background (both majored in different fields of chemistry - Catalysis and Wood Chemistry), research in making wine was amongts our list of possible projects. And living in Colorado, with the opportunity of Grand Junction grapes nearby, we decided this is the Colorado project (our project in Texas was a saltwater aquarium).

We love wine, and enjoy tasting it to determine the characteristics of the wine. During the years we have found a favorite, even though it has changed since our early years of appreciating wine.

We visited Creekside Cellars often, the surroundings are beautiful. Sitting on the deck and enjoying a glass of wine next to the rippling Bear Creek created forever moments. It is always fun to be involved in a project that challenges your creativity as well as abilities - especially if you can benefit from the products, enjoying them with your family and friends.

The winemaking started in 2009. We love Shiraz, and decided it was time to produce our own, and experiment with methods the following years. Being part of a winegild (next webpage development), we started the process because it had to be shared, starting a webpage for it seemed appropriate. This is how this webpage started. A next step in the life of Kuthule Winemaking.
